Before applying, let your new tattoo rest and breathe for 5-10 minutes to allow it to naturally clot, stop weeping, and create a clean, dry surface. The gel is easy to apply and dries in minutes.

You can leave it on for 2 to 24 hours, reapplying as needed.

Typically, apply it and leave it on overnight, then wash it off the next day and reapply as needed for 3-4 days.

I love the idea of this product

I love the idea of this product. I was super excited to try it. I bought two large bottles. When I say the dry time takes for forever it’s an understatement. you could make a mummy faster. I ended up buying a blow dryer just to take it more time productive. I ended up going back to traditional second skin and only use this in clients with adhesive allergies.

Better than Second Skin !!

Just got my hand done . Ink Beetle , unlike second skin , is a liquid gel . You squeeze it out and smooth it over like frosting a cake . It can cover my hand AND fingers easily . Second skin you’d have to cut individual pieces for each finger . It soothes and makes a barrier to protect your new ink . Let’s be honest , as much we spend on our tattoos , I personally would pay Anything to have them heal the best they can . Thanks Ink Beetle . On to day 3 tomorrow !!!
