How do I apply Ink Beetle Derm Gel and how long should I leave it on?
Before applying, let your new tattoo rest and breathe for 5-10 minutes to allow it to naturally clot, stop weeping, and create a clean, dry surface. The gel is easy to apply and dries in minutes.

You can leave it on for 2 to 24 hours, reapplying as needed.

Typically, apply it and leave it on overnight, then wash it off the next day and reapply as needed for 3-4 days.

Medical professional here. This stuff is amazing! Dries fast, creates a protective layer that keeps for about 4-6 hours before peeling. I don’t recommend peeling it off a fresh tat, I’d recommend having it dissolve in the shower, clean and reapply. I won’t be using tagaderm anymore

Does the job for complex areas

It took a couple tries to put the right amount on, and it can take a while to dry, but it does exactly what it’s supposed to do! It’s easier than second skin for complex areas.

Messed up my new ink.

Used it the same evening that I got my new tattoo. Yes, I showered and washed. Pat dried. Applied ink Beatle to tattoo and than let dry. Went to bed, woke up and peeled off some ink like a bandage on a new tattoo. Ruined some of my new ink. Will need to have it touched up and fixed.
