How do I apply Ink Beetle Derm Gel and how long should I leave it on?
Before applying, let your new tattoo rest and breathe for 5-10 minutes to allow it to naturally clot, stop weeping, and create a clean, dry surface. The gel is easy to apply and dries in minutes.

You can leave it on for 2 to 24 hours, reapplying as needed.

Typically, apply it and leave it on overnight, then wash it off the next day and reapply as needed for 3-4 days.

This stuff is legitimately amazing

This stuff is legitimately amazing. I initially had my doubts, but my clients absolutely love the stuff. Most of my clients did not scab at all after wearing Ink Beetle for the first several hours after getting tattooed, even after 100% coverage.

Good Stuff

I just recently got my first large tattoo, on the side of my calf. The artist wrapped it with Sani-Derm, and it was all good. But since the tattoo was so large, the Sani-Derm had to go down around my ankle slightly. The seal couldn’t hold, and started leaking plasma after a few hours. He told me to come back in the next day, and we rewrapped it. Same problem a few hours later. Luckily I had a tube of this on hand, just in case. First application took a really long time to dry (I put too much on), but once dry it was so much better. I was able to get some sleep, without worry. Second application was better (I learned to use less). Drying time is still longer than what the tube says. Maybe closer to 8-10min. But the product works great! Definitely a great option for around joints, and such. Will keep a tube on hand for all future tattoos (just in case if nothing else).

Purchased off of Amazon, and this stuff is amazing. It doesn’t peel if you follow the directions for it and also let it dry.
